CC1352P: Router and Coordinator Support

Can ZStack be configured to support both a Router and Coordinator in the same image like the Silicon Labs device? This was not possible on the CC2530, which I get because of the limited memory.

Maintaining 2 SKUs is costly. It would be OK for us if this required manual selection (like a jumper).

If this is not currently supported, are there plans in the near future?

Hi,

Yes, this should be possible, as the ZNP project is capable of running as ZC or ZR.

To do this, define ZSTACK_DEVICE_BUILD as (DEVICE_BUILD_COORDINATOR | DEVICE_BUILD_ROUTER).
Before the device joins/forms a network, write to the NV item ZCD_NV_LOGICAL_TYPE with either ZG_DEVICETYPE_COORDINATOR or ZG_DEVICETYPE_ROUTER.
Otherwise, the device will default to ZC.

Since a lot of codes are locked inside Z-Stack API level, is it possible to use SOC mode and switch between ZR and ZED when device starts?
