Hello,

I have a CC2652 chip conntected via UART to a CC3200 and i want to be able to update CC2652's firmware via CC3200. Is there any examples of fota upgrade for cc2652?

If you mean to use serial boot loader to update CC2652R, you can refer to chapter 10 in www.ti.com/.../swcu185b.pdf

Hi, thanks for your answer. I've read the chapter you mentioned and i don't understand that if serial bootloader only works when no firmware is already running on the chip(downloaded) or if it works in any case(with and without firmware running on the chip).

Hello, I've been reading the information you provided and some other notes. If i don't misunderstand using serial bootloader to re-flash my cc2652 would also erase memory blocks that z-stack uses for saving network configuration and some other things. I've also been reading some notes about ota upgrade cluster and after receiveing a valid image, a portion of code called BootImage Manager copies the new image into the internal flash upon reset. What if i use BootImage Manager to upgrade my coordinator?

I don’t think using serial bootloader to re-flash cc2652 would also erase memory blocks that z-stack uses for saving network configuration and some other things. And, I suppose you can use BootImage Manager to upgrade coordinator too.
