Hi,

I got the following error when compiling the z-stack code on IAR Workbench, can someone suggest what changes I need to do to eliminate the error

Error[e104]: Failed to fit all segments into specified ranges. Problem discovered in segment XDATA_N. Unable to place 2 block(s) (0xc02 byte(s) total) in 0xbc3 byte(s) of memory. The problem occurred while processing the segment placement command "-P(XDATA)XDATA_N=_XDATA_START-_XDATA_END", where at the moment of placement the available memory ranges were "XDATA:133d-1eff"

You run out of RAM/Flash resource. Which Z-Stack version and example do you use?

Z-stack 2.6? Do you mean Z-Stack home 1.2.2a? Do you modify anything on SampleLight?

It is a older version, not z-stack 3.01 and z-stack 3.02, I have made many changes in the Sample Light Example in order to generate IR signals

I can only suggest you to shrink RAM/Flash usage in your application codes to solve the issue.

Please use the IAR version found in the release notes of Z-Stack 2.6, as a newer compiler is most likely resulting in larger code output. Perhaps you should be considering RemoTI instead (see SWRA323) but as both of these software solutions are deprecated I would highly recommend that you consider using Z-Stack 3.0.2 for development. www.ti.com/.../swra635.pdf
