Hi Ryan

After zooming out the terminal, UI application launched fine.

I have tried adding Binary Switch, it added but not showing in the Devices list in UI interface. In the sniffer, I am seeing the Binary switch.

can you tell me what is the problem, it is not added to the device list?

What do you mean binary switch? According to association MAC address in your screenshot, it seems a 3rd party device. Can you specify what it is exactly?

It is an existing Zigbee device with On/Off cluster. It works with other Zigbee hub.

I tried but couldn't upload the sniffer file. It is a .isd file. I will try one more time.

It's strange that TI Linux GW doesn't send active endpoint request to this 3rd party devices. Can you try to use TI Z-Stack SampleSwitch/SampleLight to join your GW to see if it works properly first.

Hi Raja,

I split this thread since the original problem was solved and this is a new topic. What hardware are you using for the ZNP and are you trying to connect a Zigbee 3.0 device? Does the same behavior occur if this is the only device connected in the network?

I have a Zigbee router device, a simple switch, in the network. I am now trying to add Zigbee end device which is a water sensor. While the association commands are being exchanged through ZR device, the ZED device leaving the network automatically. can you please explain where is the problem.

The ZED device I tied to add is with MAC 00:0D:6F:00:02:F7:B6:02

Hi,

Is the router a CC26x2?
Is the water sensor third party?

If the router is a CC26x2, please set set BDB_DEFAULT_TC_REQUIRE_KEY_EXCHANGE to FALSE.

I am using CC26x2 as coordinator. Router device and water sensor are third party devices. I attached sniffer logs in my previous comment for your reference.
I am using Zigbee Linux Gateway for CC26x2, and in the config file, ERROR__out/Precompiled/servers/config.ini, BDB_DEFAULT_TC_REQUIRE_KEY_EXCHANGE is set to zero. is that okay for a coordinator?

Are you sure this water sensor use standard TC link key? Can you specify who is the manufacture of this water sensor?

I believe yes, the water sensor uses the standard TC link key because it added fine when there is no Zigbee router device in the network. The water sensor is from Centralite.

Hi Raja,

I've merged your two similar posts. Regarding the sniffer log provided, I notice that the ZED is able to join the network but most likely leaves due to its Match Descriptor Request not being responded to. This happens regardless of a direct connection to the ZC or not. The ZED appears to have two clusters on the HA profile: 0xFC0F (reserved) and 0x500 (IAS Zone). It makes sense that the ZC does not respond to the first since it is a reserved cluster, however it has responded to the IAS Zone cluster of other nodes. Perhaps the ZC's binding tables have been filled and it therefore does not respond to any further IAS Zone inquiries. How many IAS Zone nodes are in the network and have you considered increasing the NWK_MAX_BINDING_ENTRIES (default of 4 from zstack_config.h) of your ZNP project?

There is only one IAS zone device at that time. Anyway I tried your suggestion of increasing NWK_MAX_BINDING_ENTRIES, I made it to 20. But after that no device is getting added. I just reverted the value to a default value i.e. 4 then devices are started adding. any idea why this happened?

It has been four weeks since you've last responded to this thread, which itself was quite disorderly. Perhaps it would be best if you restate the issue along with the Z-Stack version used, network topology, and updated sniffer logs.
