RTOS/CC1352R: openthread lowpower example

I use cc1352r launchpod to develop and I want to use lowpower mode.But I cant find an example use lowpower mode and thread at the same time,do somebody know how to let the two function work together?

Hi weizhe,

Use the temp_sensor example, it is configured to be a Sleepy End Device.

You can also refer to the Low-Power Operation section in the TI-OpenThread User's Guide for how to enable low-power operation on a MED.

Hi Severin,
I use temp_sensor example, but how can I know it is sleep or not?
by the way, when I use thread stack does the MTD device can use shutdown function?

Are you asking whether you now if a MTD project is a SED or a MED configuration? Or, how you know if it is in standby or not?

Yes, you put the MTD device in shutdown if you want.

Not sure from what viewpoint you are looking for. You can for instance verify that the device enters standby by measuring the current consumption of the device.

what I want to know is when a device was configured as SED and add an network ,when or which situation the device will come in sleep and when or which situation to wake up?

A SED will wakeup to send data requests to the parent router, as part of the Thread protocol. In addition, any other code your application is running, including additional transmissions to the parent router, will also wakeup the device. Otherwise, the device is in standby.
