CC2530: How to use Zigbee HA devices from different vendors into my Zigbee network?

Yes, it's possible. If this NXP device uses standard Zigbee HA profile, you only need to enable permit join on your Z-Stack Home coordinator and it should join.

I did this. I enable Permit Join on  the coordinator and it seems that the device joins the coordinator and also I see it is added to the AssociatedDevList, but no process change indication is issued to the Z-Stack Linux Gateway. After few seconds that a short address is assigned to the device, it sends beacon request again as when it was not in the network!

I suggest you to use sniffer to check what happens over the air.

These are  my Ubique Packet Analyzer files for my Device based on CC2530 and an NXP device when joining to my home coordinator. NXP device doesn't complete the join process, for example it doesn't send Device Announce. You can see that NXP device starts to send Beacon Request few seconds after incomplete join process. Can you find where is the problem?

I suspect this NXP device doesn’t use standard Zigbee HA Trust center link key. Do you have product link of this NXP device?

It is said in the catalog that ZIgbee HA is used. This is the link to the door sensor I used.

I would suggest you to contact the company and ask them what TC link key they used in the product.

I contacted to the manufacturer of that Zigbee Device but they didn't mention what TC link key is used, and they just said that Zigbee HA is used.

Is it possible to join device with security disabled?

You can try Z-Stack Home 1.2.2a which you can disable security in f8wconfig.cfg.

The problem still exists. These are log files when joining our zigbee device and another zigbee device (from NXP). When I checked the AssociatedDevList in the coordinator, the new device is added to its table but it seems it doesn't add completely.

According to CC2530_Device.cubx, this CC2530 device is a smart plug and it joins coordinator successfully. I suppose you need to revise gateway application code to make it show on gateway UI correctly. As for NXP_Device.cubx, I don't see active endpoint and simple descriptor request/response to know what it is so I cannot comment on it.

Waht may be needed to modified in the gateway code?  I checked the gateway code and when NXP device joins the coordinator, process_change_indication is not called and it seems nothing is issued to gateway side. I think the problem may be with ZNP code.

What is your gateway reference code? Is it TI Z-Stack 3.0 Linux GW reference design?

No, I have used Z-Stack_linux_gateway_1.0.1_src  and Z-Stack 1.2.2 as Z-Stack.

Do you have any example that non-TI zigbee device is added to  the TI Z-Stack based network?
