hello,

does the short address of an end device remain the same after leaving and rejoining the same previous network?

    Hello Rick,

    Yes it does.  You can prove this by commissioning a network, joining devices, and then resetting them while viewing OTA communication on a sniffer.  There are some corner cases, such as Network Status Address Conflicts after a Device Announce, but these are rare given 16-bit stochastic addressing.
