Hello,

I have a CC2530PA1 SoC module and I want to use the alternative UART port and use the P1.4 & P1.5 as TX and RX. how can I do that?

are these pins idle in the program?

i use sample thermostat app for this node.

the Peripheral I/O Pin Mapping is according to below table:

You can set "PERCFG|=BV(0)" in UART init function to use UART0 Alt.2 which you can refer to PERCFG register usage in CC2530 user guide.

Alright thank you, I want to send a periodic data from module (every 500ms) to PC by serial communication and then send a message from PC to the same module (again by serial communication). can I use a single serial port or I should use both ports? does using the same port cause a conflict?

(is full duplex communication possible in serial communication?)

Yes, you can use a single serial port.

in the case of simultaneous sending and receiving data via serial communication, which one has the priority and does the other data get saved somewhere to be restored in the next?

and is the phrase "BV" an abbreviation or something?

1. Sending and receiving data via serial communication is not simultaneous. It depends on TX/RX which comes first.

2. BV is a bit mask defined in Z-Stack hal_defs.h like the followings:
