Hi,

I am trying to setup my data sniffing program, I have followed this guide but i cant configurate my device nor do i detect any device when i press it.
I have loaded the sniffer_hex image to the CC2642R launchpad.
A similar guide worked for Ubiqua but i rather not use because it is not for free.

Hi Hamza,

Which chip revision of the device do you have? Note that it should be Rev. E.

Can you verify you have selected the correct sniffer_fw binary? It should be the sniffer_fw/bin/cc26x2r1lp/sniffer_fw.hex. Also, verify that this firmware is correctly flashed onto the device.

When this is done, which steps under the "SmartRF Sniffer Agent Setup" in the Users Guide you linked does it fail?

Yes. I load that image and do verify image to confirm it is successful which it answer it is.

In step 3, I can't press device configuration option.

Ok I solved it by doing the following:

1. Options -> Serial port settings -> baud rate 921600

I recognized that was the baud rate used for ubiqua and now it worked too.
