CC2652P: cc2652p reference design +5dbm and +20dbm

Hello,

1) is there any reference design available using cc2652p for +5dbm and +20dbm output??

2) Also can we use murata balun LFB182G45BG5D920 or JTI balun 2450BM14G0011 for +5dbm output.

3) Is there any compatible balun available for +20dbm section.

4) Also can we use internal bias configuration for +5dbm and leave RX_TX pin unconnected.

Hi,

1. CC2652P and CC1352P are pin compatible so you could use CC1352 reference design.

2. Yes these can be used at 5dBm. Please see the respective power capacity numbers of each balun in the datasheets.

4. Yes.

Hello PM,

The ipc mentioned in the document (also as shown in above screenshot) is used for

2_4_GHZ_RF_P & 2_4_GHZ_RF_N for +5dbm output

And

SUB-1_GHZ_RF_P & SUB-1_GHZ_RF_N for sub-1 Ghz output

But I need IPC for +20dbm 2.4Ghz output.

Hi,

We haven't approved any IPC for +20dBm in 2.4GHz range. So, they need to use Discrete Circuit (as per our Reference Design).
