How can we generate random number in CC2538.

Is it true that i cant use radio while generating a random number?

Please refer to Section 13.10.3 and Chapter 16 of SWRU319. There is a RNG driver available in Contiki-NG that you may be able to reference: https://contiki-ng.readthedocs.io/en/latest/_api/group__cc2538-random.html

Section 23.12 explains that the radio should be in RX when random bits are being generated.
