CC2592: Can CC2592 and CC2595 be used for nRF52832

Part Number: CC2592
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: CC2595, CC2652P

Hi,

My customer want to increase the distance to 1KM for nRF52832.

Please help to check if CC2592 / CC2595 is OK for nRF52832.

If CC2592 / CC2595 are not OK, please help to recommend other TI PA parts.

Thanks.

  • I think CC2592 can be used as PA/LNA.

  • Before going into details: Have you calculated the required link budget to have 1000 m range and if the required output power is possible to use according to the regulations/ standards where you want to use the device?

CC2592 has a differential input which impedance is tuned to the CC25xx series meaning that they have to do some matching if they use a nRF device. With CC2652P  you get a 20 dBm PA build-in.
