Where can I find the original firmware for CC2530-ZNP described in the document, "CC2530ZNP Interface Specification.pdf" ???

I tried the firmwer that comes with Z-Stack, swrc126.zip

and this one,

Regardless of firmweare I'm using in cc2530, Z-Tool can't find any devices connected.

For testing I'm using Z-Tool connected to cc2530 thru USB to UART interface (115200, RTS / CTS, 8-N-1).

I can't compile my own firmware because I do not have access to the IAR compiler

For changing the firmware I'm using CC-Debugrer.

You can download an 30 days evaluation full version of IAR and compile the ZNP for the CC2530 (or cc2531)

We face the exact same problem. We are unable to find an image which works out of the box with the ZTool.

To be honest, that last reply is ridiculous. Why do we have to compile the ZNP on our own? The precompiled images should work as described - period. Where's the problem?

So, TI, please provide us with WORKING images...

Actually, the firmware that is supplied, operate properly, if using UART interface, the reset takes 1 to 2 minutes. You must be patient. If not, contact me, I'll send you the firmware.

Dear Alexander Beck - all ZNP images are tested before release. Please specify the exact scenario in which one does not work along with very specific steps to duplicate your observation. Thanks.

Dear Franjo - The delay is only 1 minute, not 2, and it is from the serial boot loader that is embedded in the ZNP image that detects that a valid "run-code" image exists, but before just jumping to it and running, it is delaying in the boot loader to give a chance to begin the download of a new "run-code" image. The boot loader will delay until the wait times out or until receiving a character telling to jump to run code - just send the byte of 0x07 ... please review the ZNP-image user's guide, Section 3.3 About the image with serial boot loader support" which you will find here:

Also, note that the embedded SBL has UART 115200 with NO flow control but the ZNP has UART 11520 with CTS/RTS. So you have to send the 0x07 with no flow and reconfigure for CTS/RTS to communicate with the ZNP. You can use the Z-Tool for both - config port no flow and after power-up, send the SYS_STACK_TUNE from the "System" folder, then reconfig port for RTS/CTS from Tools-->Settings-->Serial Devices

Thank you very much for your prompt reply. We are going to check that, maybe it's just that we did not wait long enough, or we messed something up with the RTS/CTS signals.

I am interested in a reply to the original question -

Is there a controlled CC2430ZNP HEX image that can be used out of the box? Let's have a straight answer on that one.

I read the original question as being wrt CC2530.

If you are now asking a new question, wrt CC2430, the answer is no - there is no longer any software support for the CC2430.

Actually, I am testing SPI trasport so, which precompiled hex i should use for CC2530 comminication with Application processosor over SPI ? I am also wondering. I tried from Arduino to read reset command, i configured gpio for mrdy-srdy signal and enable cfg0 and cfg1 pin for enabling spi,
Please help.
