CC2530: Can CC2530 support zigbee 3.0?

Part Number: CC2530
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: Z-STACK

Hi team,

customer use zigbee 3.0 in their project, and would like to know if CC2530 can support zigbee 3.0?

I search online find that for zigbee 3.0 application, recommend to use CC2652 and CC1352, so, I am confuse about this?

in this link, http://www.ti.com.cn/tool/cn/Z-STACK, say "Z-Stack 3.0.2 is TI's Zigbee 3.0 certified protocol suite for the CC2530 and CC2538 SimpleLink Wireless MCU.'

So, CC2530 can support zigbee 3.0, but customer need to develop by themself, right?

Does TI provide the sofeware support for CC2350 zigbee 3.0 application?

thank you.

  • Yes, CC2530 can support Zigbee 3.0 and Z-Stack 3.0.2 is based on Zigbee 3.0 standard. There are Zigbee 3.0 examples/documents in Z-Stack 3.0.2 and if you need support, you can post your question on E2E forum.
