CC2530: ZigBee and WiFi Coexistence

Hello,

we wanna make a ZigBee gateway by using CC2530 and a WiFi module , which would send our data to server, because of the Interference(both are on 2.4GHz) some data would be lost, we need a solution for that Issue. we found this article : https://processors.wiki.ti.com/index.php/WL18xx_CC253x_Wi-Fi_ZigBee_Coexistence_Test_Suite#Which_GPIOs_are_used_for_coexistence

and another solution(PTA) from silicon labs, because we are using CC2530 from TI, therefore we prefer to try the solution of TI. but this test is done under Linux, we need a really useful solution for our developing, preferably under windows.

Could you please give us more details?

Hello Daniel,

First of all I recommend that you use a Zigbee channel which reduces interference with WiFi (15, 20, 25, 26): https://www.metageek.com/training/resources/zigbee-wifi-coexistence.html

The Wiki page you found is very old and we no longer provide that solution. Linux was mentioned because the solution was tested on a BeagleBone Black, however there is no Windows host alternative that I am aware of. The current Zigbee gateway sensor-to-cloud solution also supports Linux: https://www.ti.com/tool/download/ZIGBEE-LINUX-SENSOR-TO-CLOUD

Whatever host you use to communicate with the Zigbee Network Processor will simply be using MT commands, you can modify this for your specific needs as YK demonstrates in this blog post: https://sunmaysky.blogspot.com/2017/02/use-ztool-z-stack-30-znp-to-set-up.html
