I am trying to measure the current consumption of my device during sleep mode using ZED example and following the setup in link and link.
I am using Energytrace tool to measure, I know it is recommended to use DC power analyzer testbench but I dont have access to such instrument.
Anyhow, using energytrace tool I have measured during 1 sec while the device is not polling or sending packets:
Ignore the peak. The current consumption when the device is in sleep mode does not give the same result in the links provided nor in the datasheet.
The mean value of "sleep" mode is 531us, which is much bigger than other results obtained from the datasheet and in the links.
I suspect that the device never really go into sleep mode. I am using CC2652R ZED SW example to do this experiment on.
