CC2652R: Update Image on CC2652 via SPI using CC3220 as External Host

Part Number: CC2652R

Dear TI team,

I have a custom board having CC3220 and CC2652 connected through SPI interface. I am trying to flash an image on CC2652 from CC3220 via SPI using backdoor mechanism as outlined in the TRM of 2652 and SBL application note. Our spi interface works just fine but I am unable to communicate with bootloader and, after digging up a bit and to my great dismay, rightly so as we haven't made the recommended SPI connections on CC2652 to communicate with bootloader. I am sharing a snippet of recommended connection pins for reference:

Is there any option I could work around this problem (probably using BIM) or the redesign of traces is the final eventuality?

As a side question: In case of redesign of traces is there any possible issue with using SSI0 interface for normal communications between two chips and using the same interface while CC2652 is in bootloader mode?

Thanks for any feedback and pointers!
