I want to test the firmware update OTA with my custom end device.
I am using the ZNP firmware as zigbee network coordinator.

My question:
I need edit code the firmware ZNP to test the firmware update via OTA? Or the ZNP firmware has all OTA functionalities?

Hi,

The ZNP runs APS, NWK and MAC layers of Zigbee protocol. It provides access to Zigbee functionality through the serial Monitor and Test API.
The application layer is left to the ZNP's host device.

The OTA upgrade logic should be managed by an application layer. For more detailed information on how to perform the OTA upgrade process, please refer to the section on Z-Stack OTA Upgrade.

As mentioned by Tony, OTA is handled by application and you can refer to how Z-stack Linux Gateway implements OTA feature as well.
