My customer is designing antenna for CC2652 on PCB board,the size of PCB is very small,he want to use Chip Antenna or USB dongle,

    Chip antennas normally need a given PCB area to get the performance they state in the datasheet. For a very small area it's difficult to know the exact performance both for a chip antenna of a PCB antenna since the efficiency is dependent on the ground plane size.

    Is it possible to share some of the design parameters?

    - Could you please give some more details on how large area you have available?

    - Have they done some calculations on how efficient the antenna has to be to get the range they require in their application?
