Hello,

We are using qualcomm microcontroller as zigbee router and CC2530 as zigbee server/coordinator.

We are able to join qualcomm device to network and send command.

We are able to receive the image notify command from CC2530 zigbee server.

When we send Query Next Image Request from qualcomm microcontroller Nothing is printed on con_application.log file.

What can be this issue?

It seems something wrong on your .zigbee OTA file. If you use PC OTA server and dongle to test it, can it work?

Hi YiKai Chen,

We have tested this .zigbee OTA file with our TI dongle and it was working there.

Our main concern is if we send Query Next Image command from our qualcomm microcontroller, it should print something on CC2530 zigbee server log file.

But it is showing nothing on log file and still we are receiving response for it from CC2530 server.

What can be the reason behind it?

I would also like to know how to modify code if we want to use .bin file instead of .zigbee on server side.

As the qualcomm uses .bin as image file.

If we add .bin file path in sample_app_ota.cfg file, then the image notify command is not sent on sniffer.

Hi,

Some level of logging is included in the gateway OTA server. To see full logs, you can increase verboseness (e.g. export OTA_SERVER_CMD="./$OTA_SERVER_NAME 127.0.0.1:2536 127.0.0.1:2540 -v 0xFFFFFFFF".

Zigbee OTA server uses the OTA cluster on ZCL (Zigbee Cluster Library), and our implementation follows the recommended file exension .zigbee (from ZCL v7: "The OTA Upgrade file extension SHOULD be “.zigbee”.").
We have a tool which converts our CC253x/CC1352/CC2652 Zigbee images into Zigbee OTA friendly .zigbee files.
Tool is <zstack>\Projects\tools\OTA\OtaConverter\Release\OtaConverter.exe. Instructions on how to use it may be found in <zstack>\Documents\Z-Stack OTA Upgrade User's Guide.pdf.
