Hi,

I've got two E18-MS1PA1-IPX modules which are based on cc2530,

I want to set up comuunication between both of them, one of them as coordinator and the other one as end device.

I've search a lot and I find nothing.

I'm beginner at this (zigbee and also coding)

Is there any hex file that is tested before and worked fine ( hex file for coordinator and hex file for end device)

For a 3rd party module, I suppose you have to download/install Z-Stack to revise and build the examples by yourself according to your CC2530 module schematics. There are sample application user guide and developer user guide in document folder after you install Z-Stack.

In addition of Mr Yk, If you want to building end-devices only, I suggest you starting your design together a Texas Gateway or a commercial gateway to do it.

But in second case, you´ll need to know TC-link key used by gateway vendor!

Note: I use Ebyte Zigbee Radios also, like E18-MS1PA, and I really like their devices!

Hi,

Thank you for your reply.

Someone told me to connect module to computer with USB to TTL module and then configure that with AT command.

I connect that to PC but I don't know how to connect pins to TX and RX.

Hi fah,

Perhaps they were referring to a Zigbee Network Processor. You can review the Z-Stack ZNP Interface Specifications document located in Z-Stack 3.0.2\Documents\API but this would still require programming the CC2530 with a ZNP image. Either that or they are talking about pre-programmed firmware for your module.

I'm sorry but I didn't get that you mean It's necessary to program the module with z-stack and etc???

Only if the CC2530 is not pre-programmed with your desired firmware, I know nothing about the module or vendor you are using.
