Hello guys,

I try to communicate in zigbee with a Development kit that in had in my drawer.

I have installed the IAR Workbench IDE 8051 in version 10.40.1 and open the workspace for the poject SampleSwitch - EndDeviceEB

When i try to rebuild my project i have this error :

Error[e46]: Undefined external "?B" referred in bdb_FindingAndBinding ( C:\Texas Instruments\Z-Stack 3.0.2\Projects\zstack\HomeAutomation\SampleSwitch\CC2530DB\EndDeviceEB\Obj\bdb_FindingAndBinding.r51 )
Error[e46]: Undefined external "?IE" referred in ?ALLOC_XSTACK8 ( C:\Program Files (x86)\IAR Systems\Embedded Workbench 8.3\8051\LIB\CLIB\cl-pli-blxd-1e16x01.r51 )
Error while running Linker

I try to solve and to find ressources about this problem and i find this topic : Link

But after try differents solutions nothing solve my problem.

IAR EW8051 10.2.1 is required for Z-Stack 3.0.2 CC2530/CC2531 projects, as stated in the Z-Stack 3.0 Release Notes provided with the software download.

yes i see that with a IAR lowest version, the problem don't appear. But after research, i don't find any installer for a lowest version.

Maybe you find a link ?

I am not aware of any download link for version 10.2.1 in public. You have to contact IAR system to request download link.

IAR used to provide a specific link for previous IAR versions which were used by TI Z-Stack. However, the link is broken/deprecated now. Hope you can get the new download link from IAR soon.

I have contact IAR and they send me a link to download a previous version (10.3.2). But i need a evaluation license to use it and i don't receive this evaluation license by mail like for the last version of IAR. In the same time, i have receive an other module CC2538-CC2592EM and he compliant more with our application.

So like said me YiKai Chen don't hésitate to contact IAR, they can provide you installer and maybe evaluation license.

By the way, CC2530 is not recommended for new Zigbee design. I would suggest you to use CC2652R for new design and you can use CCS as IDE for free to develop CC2652R zigbee application.
