AES-CCM on CC2650

I was able to use AES-ECB from [Removed by TI] uploaded at https://e2e.ti.com/support/wireless_connectivity/f/538/t/425682

But implementation for AES-CCM is missing in these files. Can anyone please point me to working implementation of AES-CCM and example of how to use the APIs.

Hi Vivek,

The ROM encryption library that was uploaded to the wiki is not recommended to use for now. Parts of the will be used in future versions of the BLE stack and since the library uses a global RAM scratch area this will cause thread safety issues when the BLE stack starts using this until we have a thread safe wrapper in place around the library. The final version of the crypto library (expected in August) will have support for AES ECB/CCM/CTR, ECC as well as SHA256 checksums.

Thanks for the answer. Will this new library also support Random Number Generator API ? Or is there a implementation available in the current firmware version ?

Util_GetTRNG() is already available once the application has registered with the BLE stack (after e.g. SimpleBLEPeripheral_init() ).
