Hi,

When attempting to set an authentication username for the HTTP Server, a six character value will cause strange behavior. I can authenticate once, but then authentication with the same credentials fails. After a reset, the credentials will be read out the same as they were set, and you will be able to authenticate once again, with further attempts to get a webpage failing. I am using the CC3100BOOST on the CC31XXEMUBOOST.

Are you using any specific examples from the SDK ?

I'm looking for some examples from the SDK about HTTP Server Authentication , not in the out_of_box, httpserver, getting_started_with_wlan_ap, or ssl example. Can you point me to the right place if there is such an example?

From swru368_CC3200 Network Programmer's Guide, page 153, it says:

7. HTTP web server authentication:
(a) Can be enabled or disabled (disabled by default).
(b) Authentication name, password and realm are configurable.

where I can get the code/example for fast check?

Please refer to this NWP programmer guide

It applies both to the CC3100 and CC3200, since they share the same Network processor.

Specifically, look at section 12, 12.7 of the document.

Section 12.9 lists several API to enable/disable authentication check, and additional parameters.
