AM335x X11 SGX Driver

I noticed version 5.01.01.01 of the Graphics SDK has been released and welcome the new support for a 3.12 kernel, but once again there is no X11 driver: "Xorg driver build (SUPPORT_XORG=1) not supported."

We have legacy X11 applications we're trying to port to the AM335x and we would really like to be able to use accelerated graphics.  At the moment, the choices are run without hardware acceleration (what we're doing now, for testing), or port our application to something like QT that can run without X11 (painful).

When is the Xorg driver expected to be supported again?  Is the Xorg driver something we could port ourselves, or does it require "secret sauce" from the PowerVR OEM SDK only TI has access to?
