AM3354: TSC_ADC reset

Hi,

With our customers, when they keep pushing the touch panel for several hours, a flag is set in the FSM busy bit of the ADC_STAT register of TSC_ADC of AM335x, causing ADC to stop working.
Please tell me how to restore the ADC when the flag is set to FSM busy bit.

Is it only to reset the AM335x device?
As a factor that flags FSM busy bit of the ADC_STAT register, can you think of something?

No, this is the only way to unlock the ADC state machine.

I understood that the return could support only in reset.

When the touch panel is continued pushing, as for the reason that a state machine of the ADC locks, what is thought about?

I cannot say. I don't know what exactly they are doing and what software they are using. I suggest they also check the Errata document.

Is it possible for the state machine of the ADC to lock due to this errata?

I am not sure, but your customer can check if the suggested workaround for Errata 1.0.31 will help them.
