TPL0501-100 memory and ground

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TPL0501-100

Hi all,

I am using the TPL0501-100 to set the CBC current limit of a DRV8432 as explained in this link and according to the comments it is possible. However since the two potentiometers are between OC_ADJ and AGND will this cause a problem (since the ground connection for the two potentiometers is digital ground)?

Secondly the word "volatile memory" in the TPL0501-100, does it mean that the programmed value goes away at a power off condition OR does the programmed value go away time to time and I should be writing the resistor value constantly / periodically?

Best regards

Gehan
