Build error in CCS5.3.0009( TI-COFF not supporting)

Hi,

   I am using CCS5.3 version. In that tool that above properties are not there. When i am trying to create a new project, that version no. and and output format was hided. I cant able to set the output format. 

Can you please tell me, how to create a new empty project???

I think you cannot set it in new project window. If you already have project and go into properties you should see dialog as the one preceding. 

If you want to create empty project you need to click File --> New CCS Project, select appropriate chip and ensure that Empty Project (with main.c) is selected under Project templates and examples.

 You are correct. We can change the "Output Format" in the Properties->General. But I import a project from the control Suite means i can able to change the Output Format.

But when i am creating a new project means that was hided. Its look like this:

Sorry, I thought you are using ARM. For C2000 cores only COFF is available, therefore you cannot change it. If you create ARM project for your Concerto you will see EABI.

If you are creating a project for the C2000 part you will not be able to change the output format, as you noticed. It defaults to COFF and cannot be changed. The reason you are seeing errors related to g_pfnVectors is likely because you are including the incorrect linker command file (.cmd). In the example proejcts the linker command file is specified under Project Properties->Build->C2000 Linker->File Search Path. You can see there that the ones used for C2000 are from \F28M36x_common\cmd folder. I suspect you are using one from \MWare\cmd folder, which is only to be used for M3 projects. Similarly, driverlib.lib from MWare should be linked in only with M3 projects.

I would suggest taking a closer look at the example projects in ControlSuite and looking at the settings and files closely for both C2000 and M3 and then when you create a new project, try to add the same/similar files and settings.

   I added that MWare/cmd folder, lib file from MWare folder only. But till it showing same error. Can you please take a look into my Screen shot:

Please help me. Till now i am not able to build my project successfully.

Again, you are using C2000 project with ARM code. You need to create new ARM project for ARM code: File -> New CCS Project.

Concerto is dual core device with both C2000 and ARM. You need two separate projects, one for ARM one for C2000.

I think you might be missing the fact that the same part can be found under C2000 and ARM lists in CCS. I believe what you need is:

After creating project with such parameters you should see ARM Compiler and ARM Linker under project properties.
