If you don't already have them, I would download the latest MCSDK1.0 and the IPC from:

http://software-dl.ti.com/sdoemb/sdoemb_public_sw/bios_mcsdk/latest/index_FDS.html

http://software-dl.ti.com/dsps/dsps_public_sw/sdo_sb/targetcontent/ipc/index.html

IPC itself comes with some examples, notify_single and message_single in the following directory:  

C:\Program Files\Texas Instruments\ipc_1_21_02_23\packages\ti\sdo\ipc\examples\multicore\c6472  

build instructions are in:   C:\Program Files\Texas Instruments\ipc_1_21_02_23\docs\IPC_Install_Guide.pdf
