EMIF16 Interface

Dear,

can I configure EMIF16 as slave for C6678?  the reason is, I have two C6678 devices on my board and would like to have a link between two.  all other links have been used for something else.  only available links are EMIF16 & TSIP.

    Bonzai,

     

    No. The EMIF16 is a master interface only. You could implement a shared RAM or FPGA outside to bridge.

    You can use HyperLink between the two devices for a high-speed interconnect. This is one of the primary uses of the HyperLink interface.
