Is there a way to use VLIB with the C6678 dsp?

I believe that there will be a release of the VLIB object code that is compatible with C66x in the September timeframe. It needs to be ELF format to be compatible with the C66x family and I have been told that there is a C674x ELF release coming in this timeframe that will be compatible. I'd suggest going through the VLIB request form at:

We have just purchased two eval boards for the C6678 chips. I was wondering if VLIB was now available for that platform.

Azhar,

The VLIB download location is being updated with the new installers that have the ELF version of VLIB that can used on C6678. If the installers are not uploaded by tomorrow, I will send you a separate email with the latest installers. Please understand the ELF version of VLIB is not a C66X optimized version of the library yet, it is merely the library built in the ELF binary format that is compatible with the C66x software stack. You are likely to see the same performance as C64X+ with the current version. An updated C66X version of VLIB library should be available for download early next year..

Hi Rahul

If I check under my myRegistered Software and look for updates for VLIB, I don't see the new version. Can you please email me the installers. Also, there is a fixed path in the *.pjt file for the VLIB test example. We modified the path in the pjt file but it still looks for a CCSV3.3 path:
