C6670 AIF2 resync issue

Hi ,I am using AIF2 on C6670 and runs well for the most of the time, at this monent I find a issue that I can't figure.

My environment is LTE 20MHZ, CPRI, FDD , loopback use one fiber connect Tx and Rx.

The rx data is corrent at first, then I pull out the fiber , the RM sync_status is changing from ST3 to ST0, rx reveive no data. Then I plug in the fiber, RM sync_status changes to ST3 and rx can receive data,  but the data is not corrent !

Is this phenomenon normal ? If it is normal should I reset some part of the AIF2 so My rx will be corrent again?

Thanks for your reply.

  • Hi,

If you unplug the cable by accident, you may need smooth Rx restoration process to make PD work smoothly.

all active PD channels will be halted when your plug was unconnected because each channel will wait EOP(end of packet) signal forever. without EOP, PD cannot disable each channel and it looks like the channel is deadlocked.

the thing you can try is re-connect the cable and disable all active PD channels and you will see all channel status will go down after one or two frame time. and then you can re-enable those channels and those channels will be activated from the next frame boundary if it gets correct Rx frame from RM.

Let me know if you have additional questions about this.

    Regards,

    Albert

  • Hi Albert:

Sorry to trouble you again, I have a question about AIF2 Pi capture.

If you have time, please have a look.

    Thank you.
