Usage of secure boot C6657

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: OMAP-L138

Hello,

I have several questions which are related to the secure boot feature of the C6657 which optionally available.

- Is the secure variant of the C6657 only available for temperature range 0 -85°C or is the -40 - 100°C variant available as well?

- I was not able to find a document which describes the secure boot process for the C6657. There is this wiki site http://processors.wiki.ti.com/index.php/Basic_Secure_Boot_for_OMAP-L138_C6748 and a linked document omapl138-sec-user-guide-sprugq9.pdf which describes the secure boot feature for C6748. What are the differences between the secure boot for C6657 and C6748? Is there a different set of tools to manage and create secure flash images for C6657?

- We are using boot mode 6=SPI for C6657 (sprs814a.pdf section 2.5.1) and a secondary bootloader. Is this setup supported by the secure boot of the C6657?

- If secure boot is not an option for us. Are there any suggestions/guidelines to manage the IP protection problem on this device?

Thanks!
