Which version of CCS can support C66x simulation?

I downloaded the CCS v4.2 in TI website, but i do not find the c66x device in this CCS.

Which CCS and emulator can support the c66x simulation and emulation.

The C66x simulator is not publicly available yet. It will be released in the January 2011 timeframe. It will require that you install a CCS patch. As far as emulators go, all the normal suspects will be supported.

The C66x simulator should be released tomorrow, it will be integrated into the CCSv5.0.2 release. You should be able to find the download at:

I can download the windows version of CCS 5.0.2 but I don't get permission to download the linux version. Very strange...
