H.264 Encode with Motion detection on DM365EVM

Evaluating H.264-Encode with motion detection on DM365 EVM under the following condition.

Video resolution is VGA(640x480) with composite connector.

Because the block number of SAD in left margin is exceeded to macro block in the other row, it does not detect the motion other than left row.

Is this phenomenon on only DM365EVM.

This phenomenon does not happen on DM365IPNC.

Or is this phenomenon caused by the content of program?

What is the ssoftware which you are running when you say "only DM365 EVM" ? Is that DVSDK based? Can you please send the IPNC, DVSDK and codec version being used ?

In case of H.264 codec on DM365EVM, we are using 1.00.00.18 (wizardversion0.5.2 dm365_codec_01_00_06.

DVSDK's software version is 2.10.01.18.

Hi,

There was some issue with H.264 MV/SAD o/p in the encoder used in DVSDK 2.10. The MV and SAD were swapped w.r.t the documneted format. It is fixed in the latest codec release. Can you check the new version of codecs uploaded at the below site
