TMS320DM368: No MT9P031 chip detected

We have used DVSDK 4.02, Leopardboard DM368 and sensor MT9P031.After booting the board through SD card, there is no acknowledgement from the sensor board(i2c interface).
The boot prompt shows up as shown below.

ths7303 1-002c: chip found @ 0x58 (DaVinci I2C adapter)

mt9p031 1-005d: No MT9P031 chip detected, register read ffffff87
vpfe-capture vpfe-capture: v4l2 sub device mt9p031 register fails

Any suggestions?

    1. Check whether your cmera sensor board is connected properly .
    2. Check whether it is powered ?
    3. Check whether reset sequence is complete ? [you must follow reset sequence recommended by sensor module vendor - use RST GIO]
    4. after step-3, use i2c command line utils to probe for connected device.
