SD boot with VisionMid EVE(rev D board) & TI81XX-LINUX-PSP-04.04.00.00.01 package

I'm facing with SD boot failure.

I have VisionMid EVE(rev D board). With prebuilt images(MLO for TI814x) for uboot, SD boot is failed.

And I checked SD interface(CLK, CMD, DAT0, etc) with probe. For 400ms, ROM is working to upload MLO to RAM.

And also I confirmed this image is working on Rev C(DM8148+AM3874).

 

Could you please give me advice on this ?

    Richard,

    This could be because of DDR3 configuration. Can you try to create an MLO image which just runs from internal OCMC completely without relocating to DDR? Also can you use the JTAG to connect and see whether DDR memory access is working fine or not after your it tries to boot and fail?

    Sorry for the delay and thanks for your advice.

     

    Root cause of this was Chip revision.

    EVE chip is one of the new chip.

     

    So it is clear after adding rev(0x8) to uboot code.
