I think it is essential to describe our system structure to you before my questioning...
There are 4 HD SDI camera(adopting Capture LINK), 1 PCIe video path( adopting IPCFramesOut, IPCFramesIn LINK), 1-2 Streams from streaming media server ( with audio, received through Live555 ) or IP camera(adopting IpcBitsOut, IpcBitIn LINK).
Our system has upto 3 HD display output, and can act as Streaming media server to transmit upto 4-path media stream with audio(occupying 4-path 720P60 encoding capability)
My questions:
If audio function in my system is disabled, all functions such as stream receiving, PCIe video, and stream transmitting work properly. If audio is enabled, all other functions will be affected seemingly
1) System with 1-path stream receiving, PCIe video, If the number of camera is larger than 2, stream transmitting will be not smooth(can just watch first 2seconds
with VLC etc..., but audio track in the stream is consequent).
If system with 1-path stream receiving, if the number of camera is larger than 3, stream transmitting will be not smooth
If there is no stream receiving and PCIe video, the number of camera can upto 4, not affect stream transmitting...
2) system with 1-path stream receiving, PCIe video, and camera, audio "Broken Pipe" will occur after a short while, and sometime, cpu loading will upto 95%
3) when there are 3 cameras in system , PCIe will drop frames 1 per 5, and 1 per 3 when there are 4 cameras.
4) It seems that all these Phenomenons are caused by operation delay, but the cpu loading is not enouth at 30-40%
