Does ACPY3 require BIOS?

Hi,

I would like to ask a question on EDMA on DM6437.

There are two drivers for EDMA I found on TI Wiki: ACPY3 and LLD.

LLD, as EDMA3 Low Level Driver say, "uses the DSP/BIOS RTOS within the libraries", and such libraries must be added to the project, the conclusion is then LLD relies on BIOS.

For ACPY3, is BIOS a must? Can it run in a "naked" way without BIOS?

Thanks,

Zheng
