The OMAP-L138 EVM includes an XDS100 USB emulator on the board. You can use this emulator to get started immediately, or you can also purchase stand-alone emulators, such as XDS510 or XDS560. You can also purchase stand-alone XDS100 emulators for use with your own custom board. Here are some links to the product folders for these emulators:

Again, you do not need to purchase a stand-alone emulator to load and debug applications on the EVM board. Hope this helps.

Will Emulator XDS560U support "C" debugging with "C de-assembly" features?

I mean - you can debug "C" code and watch the assembly equivalent.
