Hello,

I want to add EMMC NAND flash(4GB) to AM1808 OMAP processor.

Please let mebknow whether AM1808 processor will support 4.41 version EMMC NAND flash.

If not, please suggest me which version of EMMC will support?

In the datasheet and TRM of AM1808, it is mentioned that MMC v4.0 is supported.

Kindly suggest.

For eMMC there are different factors to consider:
- booting from eMMC versus using eMMC only as mass storage
Also
- What the on-chip ROM bootloader supports for eMMC boot in term of features/standard (dependant on the ROM version/silicon revision)
- What the SDMMC interface supports in term of eMMC features/standards
- What the Linux/Strarterware drivers supports out of the SDMMC interface

Specifically about the SD MMC interface capability and ROM bootloader there are number of E2E posts on the topics (for C6748, OMAP-L138 and AM1808) that could help.

All three devices (C6748, OMAP-L138 and AM1808) have got the same capabilities in term of SDMMC support so info you find on one is likely valid for the other one. Still keep in mind that there is a difference in term of SW as the ARM side drivers might not have the same capability than the C674x side drivers.
