I don't believe there is a Viterbi decoder example for OMAP-L138 or C6748 from TI, there may be something from a third party, however I have not been able to uncover one. Most developers who want Viterbi capabilities would use one of the devices which has an on board Viterbi accelerator (Viterbi Co-Processor, VCP) such as C6416 or C6455.

Did you ever find any? I am looking for the same. Could we just use the ARM9 and get a linux library version?

Hi,

It has been few years since my post in this topic. Did something change? Is there Viterbi code available for any of the c6000 family DSP (without VCP unit)?
