SDHC is supported as a mass storage device. However a comprehensive support (performance, speed) for SDHC might not be ensured.

Hi,
I have a question about AM1808.
Does AM1808 support the SDHC card(correspondece capacity to 2GB)?
I confirmed the "AM1808 SD Card Controller User's Guide" page.9 Section 1.5.
It seems to be follows, and it is made a mention.
=================================================================================
1.5 Industry Standard(s) Compliance Statement
The MMC/SD card controller supports the following industry standards (with the exception noted below):
*MMC (Multimedia Card) Specification v4.0
*SD (Secure Digital) Physical Layer Specification v1.1
*SDIO (Secure Digital Input Output) Specification v2.0
The information in this document assumes that you are familiar with these standards.
The MMC/SD controller does not support the SPI mode of operation.
=================================================================================
Because it does not meet SD card standard Ver2.0, will it be good by recognition
not to be able to support an SDHC card?
Hi,
I found the information about SDHC card at following TI wiki.
http://processors.wiki.ti.com/index.php/DaVinci_PSP_03.20.00.11_Device_Driver_Features_and_Performance_Guide#Driver_Features_7
In "Driver Features" section, it mention the driver supports the following feature:
4.High-speed (SDv1.1) and High Capacity (SDv2.0) cards
So, I understand that AM1808 is supporting SDHC.
But in SD Controller User's Guide(sprufv8a) there is no information about SDHC,
are there schedule to update UG?
