Dears;

the table 5.2 in AM1808 datasheet is clear that RVDD should be 1.2v fixed.

however in the AM18x_Power Spreadsheet, Rev B;

when we change CVDD to 1.3 v; then RVDD automatically gets changed to 1.3v.

also in the right side box; there is a RVDD(mw) column but under red dot of "static" column says: ..1.2v includes RVDD ..."

so for 456mhz cpu(fixed frequency); should the RVDD be tied to CVDD(1.3v) or to 1.2v?

My colleague Tommy had answered somewhat similar query on OMAPL138 w.r.t RVDD, and this is equally applicable to the AM1808 also.

I Read that and I'll take it as it says.

However, it apears that, there is a little glitch in the "power consumption" spreadsheet of am1808 where it shows RVDD in two column as both 1.3 and 1.2 at the same time.

But I will just connect them together.

I believe the static column (AA) "comment" calling out RVDD included is a typo, now that we have a dedicated column for RVDD (which tracks CVDD voltage inputs, and can be 1.2/1.3V). I will ask the power appnote owner to confirm and fix as needed.

As a confirmation to Mukul's statement, the RVDD comment in the Static column is a typo. The static column does not contain power for RVDD. RVDD has its own column. Thanks for catching this. I'll fix this in the next revision of the spreadsheet.
