Connecting vM3224K daughter card to DSK6713

Daughter card is like a supporting card for the processor. VM3224K is a supporting card for DSK6713. This card has an inbuild TFT screen.

With the VM3224K board removed from the DSK6713, can you build, load, and run example programs that came with the DSK6713?

If you do not have any of those, you can go to the DSK board manufacturer's website www.spectrumdigital.com and find the support page for the DSK6713. Or you can go to the TI Wiki Pages and search for "c6713 workshop" (no quotes) to find the C6x1x workshop that includes some labs you can run while learning to use this board.

Once you have run some of those example programs to confirm that the DSK6713 board is working properly, please contact the manufacturer of the VM3224K board for help with using the VM3224K board.

I CAN load the program on to DSK6713 with/without VM322k. Only problem is I cant get any output on TFT screen when I load the example programs!

If you have done sufficient testing on the DSK6713 to convince yourself that the DSK6713 is operating correctly when the VM3224K is not connected, then you need to contact the VM3224K board vendor for further support.

If you suspect problems with the DSK6713 board, then try your test with the VM3224K connected to a different DSK6713, if you have another available.

Yes DSK6713 works fine. I have diagnostic software to check the 6713 which shows that device is working properly
