open source mpeg2 player

Isn't there anyone who knows any open source media player that can play mpeg2 streams over network?

Thanks, I checked it. But it is in development. I tried to build mplayer but I couldn't be succeed.  I need open source media player that can play mpeg2 streams over network.

VLC is one of the recommended media player.

I do not have idea about any other player on this.

You can also try out. Gstreamer ( But it is not player, it is framerwork)

Thanks for your  response. I looked for link you sent. It is not VLC, it is "VLC Stream and Convert"; it doesn't play mpeg2, it connects to server(PC), manages stream and plays mpeg4 that converted to mpeg4 by PC(VLC).  

I look for gstreamer but couldn't find source codes.  Do you know any player that uses gst framework?  How can I generate gst-launch.apk or another basic player from *.so files?

Thanks a lot. Finally I've found source code of gstreamer for android.  There is a good guide for installation on http://gstreamer.freedesktop.org/wiki/GstreamerAndroid_InstallInstructions 

But I couldn't build it successfully yet. It can't find gobject/gmarshal.h header but it is in /usr/include/glib-2.0. I added its path to  GLIB_FLAGS in makefiles but it has been changed on every build. I can't find where I set GLIB_FLAGS and it will not be changed. 

And I don't know what will be built finally, is it *.so files or apk file.

I will write results.
