xdc tools

Bashir Abdi

I am creating a project using ccv5 and would like to use sys/bios/typical project but it generates an error saying xdc tools is not installed. I know i have downloaded the correct xdc tool and installed but am I missing or linking it incorrectly. If any one had the same problem please let me know how you fixed it.

Could you clarify by stating exactly which version of CCS, SYS/BIOS and XDCtools you are using?

Using CCS version 5.1.0.09. And xdctool_3_23_00_32 and sysbiosv4

In CCS, go to Windows->Preferences->Code Composer Studio->RTSC->Products. There you can see a list of installed products that CCS know about. If the version of XDCtools you need is not there, click on Add..., find the installation on your computer, select it and click OK. Click OK again to close Preferences window. You'll need to restart CCS after that.

If that doesn't help, please post the screenshot with the error you get when you try to build a new project.
