Is SIO module supported on TConf DSP/BIOS 5.42.0.07?

Hi,

I am trying to use SIO module on DSP/BIOS 5.42.0.07 and CCSv5 for a DSP C5535, but when I open Tconf and select SIO. Insert SIO is greyed out.

Is SIO module supported on BIO 5.42.0.07 for C5535?

Is there a way to enable it?

Hi Diego de la Cruz,

Yes, this is supported. I think the problem is probably that you don't yet have a driver in your configuration. For example, I'm able to create a SIO instance if I first right click on DGN (under "Device Drivers") and then click "insert DGN."

After that DGN instance is added, I can then right click on SIO and "insert SIO" is not greyed out.

Yes, if I create a device driver, I can then insert a SIO object.
