Changing USB Client from com5 to com7 for SERIAL CLASS

Dear Sir,

we have usb client which will take com5 when SERIAL CLASS is used. I want to change com5 to any other available com like com7 or com9. I tried changing in the registry but it not working fine. But when we retain it with com5 then it is working fine.

Hi,

There is reference of port in

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Comm\RasBook\USB which needs to be change, so go through the registry entry, find out the com port reference and change it there.

here i am not able to find out which entry refers to com5....? any reference to know what all these values ???
