Hello,
Our customer wants to use multi SN65DP159 and TMDS422 connection. Please refer to the application diagram. We can find that the first SN65DP159+TMDS422 connect PC, and the (N+1 )SN65DP159+TMDS422 connect HDMI monitor. About this application, do you have any suggestions about this application?
Best regards
Kailyn

What is the connection between the first one and N+1?
The output of DP159 is DC-coupled while the input of DP159 is AC-coupled. You have to use double termination in order to connect the DC-coupled output to the AC-coupled input. If you use double-termination, then the signal amplitude is being cut in half and you have to boost the DP159 output amplitude to compensate.
You will also possibly have PLL peaking when cascading multiple DP159 together, which will de-grade the overall performance.
Thanks

My previous response would still be valid with the updated block diagram.
Thanks
David
Are you looking for a HDMI re-timer solution or a generic jitter cleaning solution?
For HDMI re-timer solution, DP159 if it is a AC-coupled HDMI source or TMDS181 if it is a DC-coupled HDMI source.
Thanks
